"I knew that physical rehab and recovery wouldn’t be easy but didn’t expect it to be such a struggle mentally.

When March rolled around I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and do something about the way I felt so I took the @northern_efitness 28 Day Challenge. 
The difference between these “before and after” photos is 4lbs, 1260+ minutes of cardio (😒), 78+ litres of water, some good nutritious food, and 28 days of dedication. Some of the workouts I had to adapt to my own physical limitations but I made it work.

No rest days. No excuses.

These aren’t the easiest photos to post, I’m still working on getting back to where I was before but I’m learning to be nicer to myself and I think it’s good for other women to see that it’s normal to fluctuate. 
 
Not everyone is on their A-game all of the time and it’s important to not let minor setbacks keep you from striving forward. In the last 28 days, I’ve pushed way past the limits that I previously set for myself and I’m f*cking proud of it.
